The Wanton Looks S/T Vinyl Release – June 9th

Carrying on a long tradition of pure Chicago “We don’t give a shit, we’re just here to play some rock-and-roll,” attitude, The Wanton Looks’ speak to the troubled and broken-hearted in all of us.

Now Whoa! Records is pleased to announce that they are teaming up with the Chicago quartet to release their first album on vinyl.

You can pre-order the vinyl album on the Wanton Looks’ bandcamp site at http://thewantonlooks.bandcamp.com/album/the-wanton-looks. The $12 vinyl pre-order comes with an immediate digital download of all 12 tracks.

The 12-song, self-titled album is available for digital download now and will be available on vinyl June 9. The release will be accompanied by a show at the Cobra Lounge with special guests About the Mess and Seized Up.

Influenced by acts as diverse as the Ramones and the Ronettes, The Wanton Looks have long been known for their powerful live performances. Now they’ve masterfully captured that energy on their new self-titled album.

The quartet features Traci Trouble on bass and lead vocals, Inga Olson and Susie Q on guitar and Meg Thomas on drums. Olson, Q and Thomas all also contribute backing vocals.

The Wanton Looks will be playing a CD release and music video premiere show March 31st at Schubas in Chicago. They will also play April 19 at the Underground Bar and at the Whoa! Records vinyl release show June 9 at the Cobra Lounge with About the Mess and Seized Up.
